Our Policies: (please read this section before ordering!)
Shipping Destinations:
We are able to ship only to the US, its territories and possessions, and APO or FPO addresses. If your order is shipped to a Post Office Box, and you give us an incorrect or undeliverable Post Office Box number, we must charge a $5.00 fee. It is difficult to track and trace package deliveries made to PO. Boxes. Please make certain you type the correct number.Shipping and Handling:
With fuel costs escalating out of control, we must charge a shipping and handling fee of $7.81 (minimum) on all orders. For orders with a shipping weight under 2 pounds, this fee includes all shipping costs via USPS priority mail. Shipments over 2 pounds will be charged actual shipping costs plus a $7.81 shipping and handling fee. All shipping charges will be displayed for your approval during checkout. Shipments to US destinations outside the contiguous 48 states (AK, HI) must ship via USPS Priority Mail at the Alaska/Hawaii (AK-HI) Rate. We cannot ship outside the contiguous 48 states using regular UPS ground. Shipping and Handling charges are non-refundable.
Minimum Order:
We regret that the costs of doing business (even with magical assistance!) preclude us from processing orders of less than $10.00 merchandise value (exclusive of shipping and handling.) We will decline orders of less than $10.00 merchandise value. This policy is designed to help keep all of our prices as low a possible.
Athame Policy:
We are prohibited from shipping any double-edged Athames to Massachusetts residents. There s no exception for religious use. If you live in Massachusetts and already own a double-edged Athame, you should consult your lawyer. This law (Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 269: Section 10{b}) is serious, harsh, and inflexible. Please be careful.
Typographical Errors:
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing or product information received from our suppliers, The Stone Pentacle and www.TheStonePentacle.com shall have the right to refuse or cancel any order placed for such product listed at the incorrect price. The Stone Pentacle and www.TheStonePentacle.com shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such order whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, The Stone Pentacle and www.TheStonePentacle.com shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge.
Sales Taxes:
For orders delivered to addresses within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, The Stone Pentacle and www.TheStonePentacle.com are required to automatically charge, withhold, and remit the applicable state sales tax to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Revenue. Each customer shall be solely responsible for all sales taxes, or other taxes, on orders shipped to any other state.
Damaged or Incorrect Merchandise
We want you to be satisfied with every part of your order. That's why The Stone Pentacle and www.TheStonePentacle.com will, upon your request, replace any merchandise that is received in damaged condition or where incorrect merchandise was delivered as a result of a picking error. No material will be accepted or replacements issued without prior approval (an 'RMA' Number, or 'Returned Materials Authorization') to return such merchandise. To obtain an RMA Number, please see "Permission to Return and to Receive Credit", below. Filing of claims with the carrier will be the responsibility of The Stone Pentacle and www.TheStonePentacle.com.
Permission to Return and to Receive Credit:
We've said it before; we want you to be satisfied with every part of your order. That's why The Stone Pentacle and www.TheStonePentacle.com will happily accept return of merchandise if in salable condition and notification is within 7 days of receipt. You may contact us by email at custsvc@thestonepentacle.com or call (978) 343-3539 to arrange for an RMA (Returned Materials Authorization) number, or to discuss any problems. When you notify us, we will issue you an RMA (Returned Materials Authorization) number, which you need to write in large, legible letters on the shipping container. We will issue a credit to your account or credit card. The cost of return shipping shall be the responsibility of the customer. If a return is received without an RMA number, the return will be refused.

Fraudulent Order Policy:
How to win 10 years in jail, or a $10,000 fine, -almost guaranteed!
The Stone Pentacle and www.TheStonePentacle.com take credit card fraud very seriously. We do more than simply cooperate with local, state and federal law enforcement officials to apprehend groups or individuals committing credit card fraud.
Whether it be in-state or across state lines, credit card fraud is a FEDERAL crime, and a terrible dent on your karma bank. We are required to report such abuses and we happily comply with that requirement- quickly and effectively. Needless to say, the protections of our privacy policy no longer apply to you.
We will supply all information possible about fraudulent orders to officials who will then pursue investigation and prosecution of the offense. Our order fulfillment process and screening process take a variety of both orthodox and unorthodox measures to prevent, track, investigate and log fraudulent credit card use.
The Stone Pentacle and www.TheStonePentacle.com have taken a stand on helping to eliminate identity theft and credit card fraud. We believe in protecting people's information whether they are our customer or not (see our privacy policy). In every event where a fraudulent order passes through our screening process, we will report the fraud to the appropriate legal authorities and provide those authorities with the necessary information to complete an investigation, issue arrest warrants, and make an effective prosecution. As a policy, we will submit with great joy, information on all fraudulent orders to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), United States Postal Inspection Service, and the United States Secret Service (you fell under their jurisdiction when you used a computer to commit credit card fraud, per U.S.C. Title 18, Section 3056, Subsection (b)), for investigation and prosecution to the fullest extent of the law. We will report the fraud to your ISP (Internet Service Provider) for action under their Acceptable Use Policies.
If we are able to identify you more closely, we are even happy to work with your local police department! Once all criminal actions have been completed, a separate civil case is then submitted against the offender to recover any and all damages and costs (financial and otherwise) that are incurred by us in the process of chasing your sorry butt down.
Our policy is to aggressively pursue, by every legal means possible, prosecution of ALL CASES of individuals or groups initiating orders or chargebacks to obtain goods or other consideration from us in a fraudulent manner. We don't care how "small" the fraud is. We don't care how young (or old) you are. We don't care that you "didn't really hurt anyone". We don't cut any slack. We investigate, prosecute, and litigate to the fullest extent possible, without regard to cost. We will do everything within our power to hunt you down. And don't forget- we're witches.
Fraudulent/Erroneous Chargeback Policy:
If you place a chargeback with your credit card company (on purpose or by mistake) for an order that you placed and received, there will be a $75.00 research fee charged to your account upon reversal of the chargeback. This fee will be made by our merchant provider to cover investigative expenses to prove that you actually did make the purchase and that you actually did receive it. NO EXCEPTIONS! - If you do not remember making a purchase - call the number on your statement next to the charge, and talk to us. That should jog your memory, and save you the $75.00 fee. Please do this BEFORE calling your bank!
